Norway & Sweden

We’re planning a trip to Scandinavia via North Sea Ferries through the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark to tour Norway returning via Sweden. Advice please? Thinking of a ferry from Denmark to Norway and back via bridge/tunnel from Sweden.

Just do it, you will have no regrets. Scandinavia very accomodating for motorhomers, main thing I would recommend is to stock up on your food and drink before you get to Norway, Germany seems to be cheapest.

Had 6 weeks earlier this year, info on blog.
Really good. Too many vans in Norway - every 3rd vehicle I guess! Sweden was lots of fun.
Don't bother registering or prepaying tolls (if <3.5T) - we got invoiced for most when we got back (£80 or so!) - but not all. Nothing from Sweden yet. (paid all invoiced, and there is no extra cost/penalty for this method, totally legit). But loads of toll in Norway, but the roads worth it.
Take as much food and alco as you can carry! :)

Go for it. Great touring and camping...
We took the speed ferry from Hirstsals and came back via H to H ferry (20 mins) and the "2nd Bridge"
In Sweden we used the E45 inland route.
Norway short ferries not to expensive,
Tolls Atlantic way £10 pay cash at the booth.
WE prepaid the others but got a refund works either way.
As posted Sweden better for camping Norway simply stunning.
We crossed late May and not too may other vehicles

Plenty of picnic spots with drinking water and toilet points.
As said before buy as much non perishable food while still in Germany
