Not keen on any of these at all

I have been looking at the Autosleeper m star, it is just going from the roomy winchcombe that we currently have to the narrower pvc.
We originally 9 years ago when we swapped from our vw t5 wanted a sprinter pvc, but ended up buying a coach built instead.
But I definitely wouldn’t be able to get to like the La Strada lay outs

The reason I was looking on their website is that a few years ago, when I was browsing, I saw a Transit based van, and the layout was perfect, but I couldn't find one anywhere.

I used to drive Sprinters for a living, and a great working van, but I don't see them as a PVC, too narrow.

I too used to drive sprinters for a living, and they all served me well, nearly every car we have had has been Merc and they have all served us well, as did our last and present motorhomes, our present motorhome is sprinter based it is now 10 years old, we have had it 7 years and in that time it has never let us down and the autobox is just superb,
The trouble I am having is that the one we have now has a spacious lounging area, an a great sized bathroom, i would love t be able to find an Autosleeper M Star that we could hire for a week.

I only ever bought used Sprinters, I bought well.looked after one owner vans with over 500k on them, the only issue seemed to be 2nd gear synchro and ball joints, never had any other MB vehicles bar a sprinter motorhome and it was a really crap van it'd never been maintained so I got rid quick, certainly not representative.

Got the length but not the width.
last van I converted was the VW LT, which is same body as Sprinter Mk1. I don't think I would choose to do another one due to the limited width. And it is not just the width at waist level that is limited - the sides close in a lot more than a van like a Ducato or a Transit.
Probably best use is as the chassis for a coachbuilt or A-Class.
