O Dear

Very sad to see, at least it appears no one was hurt. I think that the van may have been brand new. Seeing this sort of incident reminds you what little protection is offered by a coach built body.

Pictures on Facebook show it as a hire van the panel with the company name can clearly be seen on the Facebook photos.

a collision involving a lorry, a camper van and a car.

Why no pictures of the car or lorry??

Do we know what happened? It looks like the MH has had a big impact to the rear OS corner maybe?

There's a lot to be said for a rear fixed bed..
It certainly acts as a shock absorber.

I hope it doesn't rain , where they are camping tonight.?

Looks like the water tank saved it from crumpling completely it looks to be jammed between the chassis cross member and the back end. I don’t think they’ll be getting there deposit back.

Saw this on facebook yesterday, it's a hired van. They seemed to think it was the lorry driver's fault.

Oh dear, not sure I really want to see that!!!
Rear ended by the lorry pulling out at the last second maybe!! I am concerned at how close HGVs are sometimes, not much margin for the unexpected.
I guess the lorry drive away almost unscathed!!!!
Perhaps those guys won’t hire another!!!!!😩😩
