Oil - dash display

On starting my engine each time, this display appears briefly...


Is it telling me my oil level is good or is it telling me it is past an oil service?

Nothing in the Peugeot manual I have

Mine does the same, no idea, I checked it a few times and it's been fine, it may say something in the manual.

It a 2008 peugeot boxer 2.2 with a Puma engine by the way

I seem to remember my 2010 Ducato did this and iirc it lost zeros as the level went down.
Just checking really ( trying to eliminate old oil from my engine stalling problem)

It is your oil level the less blobs lit up the less oil you have

My 2021 Peugeot has shown the top two squares empty since we had it.
even after having an oil change at a Peugeot dealer.
So long as you know the oil level is correct by checking the dip stick.
