As mentioned on Rae's thread we use an Omnia Cooker, does anyone else have one, great used in conjunction with the Remoska, while doing a casserole in one we bake bread in the other, or jacket potatoes, oven chips etc.

BREAD BAKING AND OVEN COOKING IN THE OMNIA

With the Omnia recreation oven you can serve freshly baked breads and tasty casseroles cooked on your hot plate. The Omnia is easy to use, requires no installation and can be used on virtually all hot plates: gas, electricity, kerosene etc. NB! The enamelled based Omnia should not be used on ceramic hobs as the enamel can damage the hob. The Omnia is a popular cooking solution for yachts, caravans, motor homes, tents and holiday cottages – if you have an Omnia you have an oven!

We have one and use it regularly. We have cooked fish, bread, cakes in fact everything we would normally cook in an oven ( except pizza). Our van doesn’t have an oven so we use the Omnia.
We had the silicon insert too, but it started to disintegrate after a few uses, I think it got too hot once.

Would this be useful as well as a double skillet or does it perform more or less the same function? Looks very similar, maybe better:cry:

I think it would be useful as well as a double skillet, we use ours alongside the Remoska, it all depends on your menu
