Having our mwb Citroen relay L2H2 van converted by Suffolk Campers. First set of photos taken last week, will be completed ( possibly except for a couple of finishing touches,) weekend of 23/3 and we leave for Europe 25/3. Will have any snagging and bits which had to be left done on our return. Our fault, we changed our mind and decided to wait to leave till van was completed but initially had planned to go by car and leave it with him longer! Having a fixed transverse bed ( divided so we can remove central panel if need to transport large items) eberspacher heating, bench seat with seatbelts, swivel double front seat. Large cupboard made to fit compost loo for emergency use, door makes a screen when in use. Solar panel 160w and fan roof light also in place. Altro flooring, and wall units being fitted this week also.

It's far more fun building it yourself.
It is but when you are also renovating a holiday home, it was going to take too long! Want to get on the road asap. Also some bits Dave wanted done by someone else (electrics and cutting holes in van) so would be getting that done anyway. Not everyone has the skills or the time, and this was our compromise.

It is everything we hoped! Just settling for our first night, had heating on as temp dropping now. Got to do a bit of shopping for odds and ends, that we forgot to put in the van this afternoon, but got till eve for tunnel. It's been fun choosing how we wanted our van and not doing the hard graft achieving it! Now to enjoy it! ( Whilst compiling a small extras list which he will do in may on our return!

Thats great news. Always good when it works out well. Enjoy.
