Does anybody ever get feared in their MH when in the middle of nowhere, on your own, I have noticed on some of the pictures posted, there are some quite remote places, especially on the continent, exampe strange people turning up, extreme weather or any sort of happenings in a strange place or do you forget about all that and savoir the moment

I tend to enjoy the moment, Lorraine. As has been said many times before by many people, if I feel uncomfortable for any reason whatsoever then I keep moving on until I feel OK.
I've cycle camped all over Europe and tent life has felt safe as well. Most folks will feel even safer in their Moho.
In my view the world is populated by people who are 99.999% good hearted. The tiny minority out to take advantage of others can be found anywhere, not only at wildcamps
I've only felt uncomfortable once and that was being conned early in the morning whilst walking through Budapest That was put down to experience and was nothing to do with my means of travel (I cycled there).

Colin ???

To be honest, the more remote a place is the more I enjoy the achievement of having reached it.

Can't say Yvonne is quite as thrilled as me. :)

I reckon there are fewer people around in remote places to cause trouble. On the other hand parked up in a nice spot by a gently flowing river. That night it rained. There was a bang on the door and someone shouted to move our van. We only jusr managed to avoid being flooded.

2.5 dodgy nights in Italy summer 2018
No 1 at a beach car park ...Lots of strange comings and goings just unsettling..Cars would drive in go to a random place and drive off again....No transactions No sex or drugs or rock and roll. But....
No 2 At Lamezia Terme car park a hot spring.. At night (1am) a car (or 2 ) full of drunken young men shouting etc (not at us) but smashing bottles as well...No actual hassle nut very unpleasant
No 3 (2.5) In a small village with a car park with spaces for MoHos someone tried the door at night

I do say we have camped out and about in France Germany Austria Romania Hungary Czech R Belgium for 5 years and ONLY 1 other problem at Namur (Belgium - The citadel) similar to no 2 above.

Felt very safe everywhere in Scandinavia
2017 Wales nice carpark but 4 cars arrived very late and hung about..smoking various substances (we think) one or 2 departed and returned.
No hassle but !!!!

Parked at Stronachlacar Pier, miles from anywhere and overlooking Loch Katrine when at 3 in the morning a car draws in. Peer out to see it shining a bright light across the loch. We decided that he was probably dumping a body.
Turned out to be a water board employee testing the water quality!
That’s our most exciting encounter, other than that just a few doggers and noisy teenagers, but none doing any harm.
We usually go for the most isolated places possible and see noone.
