Hi in our Burstner we have an issue with the oven. It is quite small and of the type you see fitted to "continental" vans. We light it with a gas match...holding in the knob... it lights fine and after a few seconds we release the knob. All is well it stays lit. Upon checking how the dinner is doing we find it has gone out. It has done this for a while. Then we re-light it and it stays on ok till cooking done. Pretty much does this every time.
Not sure what is going on.

I've had similar with the small oven on our home gas cooker. The problem in our case was that the pilot flame wasn't properly heating the probe of the flame failure device (FFD). So the FFD 'thought' the flame had gone out and shut off the gas. All that was needed was to clean out the pilot jet so that the FFD probe was 'washed' with flame when the oven was lit.

Thanks will look and see how direct pilot flame is onto FFD.
