I've been fascinated by high end audio stuff for a long while, (never owned any though) it peaked when I got the contract to bring up B&W speakers from Lansing & sometimes Worhing to Wibsey in Bradford so I got to see both ends of the process, and I worked briefly at Wharfedale speakers in the 80s, what made it extra special is often it tied in with a trip down to Dover or Folkstone making it a really good earner being paid to drive both ways, a rarity these days. Here you go Kev.
