  • 2006 Fire: Another fire in an HGV shuttle, leading to passengers being evacuated.
  • 2008 Fire: A prolonged fire in an HGV shuttle that reached extreme temperatures (1,000°C) and caused significant damage, requiring lengthy repairs.
  • 2009 Freezing Weather: Snow and cold weather caused multiple Eurostar train breakdowns, trapping thousands of passengers for hours due to electrical system failures..
  • Recent Disruptions: Occasional power supply issues and train failures, like those in late 2025, causing travel chaos.
