Hi! Justin here, from the Reading area. Complete newbie hopping to learn plenty and end up buying a decent motorhome to do long off-grid stretches mainly on the continent.
Having worked as a bus driver I am used to large vehicles and have all the necessary licences.

Welcome to the forum Justin, there are so many members on here who have already made your dreams a reality.
Feel free to ask all the questions you need, there will always be somebody who can help.
The best advice I can offer, is to become a Full Member and then brace yourself for all the help and advice that will be incoming.
Your first job, of course, is to choose the right (for you) van, layout is all important and then consider using Solar Panels to recharge Lithium batteries and investing in REFILLABLE gas bottles, not exchangeable bottles which cost an absolute fortune.
Then you’ll virtually be ready to start off grid camping and extended trips to Europe.

Welcome from Co Antrim, I built from a ex lib bus, solar is a must along with good batteries lipo4 lith if going of grid these days, refillable gas is also a good idea & a deisel night heater will be a must in cold weather.
Good luck with whatever you go for.

Good morning Justin, and welcome, tell us what you are looking for regarding possible layouts and maybe the budget, I'm always looking at possible next vans.
