When heading south on m6 just prior to todhill rest area on your right you can see a pub with what looks like a motorhome caravan stop. Over /site
Question can anyone give me data to reach it and have you ever used it

Ended up at the welling pub/caravan stop .gonna have a meal here and stop the night ,nice wee site 10 pitches £12 a night inc hook up. No toilets or waste

I’ve stayed at the Metal Bridge Inn. They have a part of the huge car park set aside for motorhomes and were very welcoming. Think it may be a great meet venue sometime. It is very near the motorway but not too noisy, slightly tricky to find.

If travelling south as you were, I believe you have to go to J44 and go back north again on the service road . I don't think there is access to it from the motorway now.......and it is nowhere near "Blackford" either , maybe it's in the same postcode area but it is about five miles from Blackford village, which is on the A7. It's worth the effort to get there though.

Another great stopover for Motorhomes travelling to or from Scotland, this time not far off the A1 near Thirsk;

They have 5 allocated bays for Motorhomes. Two have EHU available. There is a single shower and toilet block in the car park.

There is no charge unless you have EHU which is £5 per night. Obviously you would be using the pub.

The food is very good.
