Rear sensor

Morning all.
The reversing sensor doesn’t work on my van ,the control unit on the dash lights up but that’s all , having looked at the rear bumper there is only one sensor which looks a bit suspect is it possible to remove this and replace and can I buy a sensor or do I have to replace everything which will mean a lot of wiring. Thanks .

It's a bit unusual to have only one sensor on the back - normally at least 4 fitted. However, they are pretty easy to remove from the bumper and if you look on ebay there are quite a few replacements available. Failing that, take the broken one to Halfords who should have replacements in stock

Thanks Taurian .I think the reason for one is possibly the age of the van 1994. I will remove said part as it is only held in with two small screws unfortunately as I live abroad popping into Halfords isn’t an opinion.it never ceases to amaze me the things we can get with ease in U.K. often seem unavailable here.Thank again.
