Just saw this on faceache technical forum and thought it could possibly be of interest to someone on here, apologies if it has been covered before.
URGENT, long post but please read if you have a motorhome on an Iveco chassis built 1999-2013.

Our motorhome is a Laika Kreos 3005 on an Iveco Daily, built 2005. At an Iveco garage in Murcia, Spain yesterday getting something done to motorhome. Our Iveco garage advised that there is a fault 8T2 which needs to be fixed. The job is to do with electrics and requires a number of parts and will take about 7 hours of work according to the garage. No cost to vehicle owner. According to the paperwork, Iveco have only allowed until late June 2021 to have this work done at no cost, after that, if you want/need it to be done, it will be at your cost. We have not been able to find this fault on Iveco’s website, but have found a German motorhome forum thread discussing it.

Below is an excerpt from this (sorry about the google translate):

“I just got a letter from IVECO regarding a recall
"Disconnector for vehicles with camper equipment"!
In extreme weather conditions, washing the vehicle with a pressure washer may allow water to enter the wiring harness.
It can short-circuit the ABS, malfunction or damage, and in extreme cases cause fire.
A short circuit can occur both when the motor is switched on and when it is switched off.
I should contact an IVECO workshop immediately.

Enclosed was a letter from the KBA with the request to participate in the recall campaign.
Our vehicle is built in year. 2007, a recall after such a long period of operation?
That doesn't seem to be a voluntary action by IVECO if the KBA is already on board!”
