Relocation of the main screen. Easy and cheap Tip.
I have or had to keep getting out of the cab crouching down just to either turn on or check that the system can be set level using the display.
There is also a remote but that only works after turning on the display unit.
So decided to move it elsewhere so it is easy to see and use.
Removed the unit and noted that the electrical connection that goes into the rear of the unit has a plug like an Ethernet cable.
So a quick test with a short Ethernet cable make one end f/male the other . And yes it works.
So ordered another Ethernet cable the length I required to the new location .
Making sure it had a male fitting and a female fitter the other end .
Re: routed the new cable to the required new position then plugged in to and fitted the screen at the new location connected the new female the existing cable and then it was all sorted .
Very easy to do and very inexpensive as well.
