Replacement keys

Thanks TJBi for confirming my search pattern, I too keep the keys in the same place when at home and when in the mh and this is the first time in 15 years I've lost them. The mh was locked so they could not be in there, though I have looked using the duplicate key to gain access.

Assuming they do not appear any ideas where I might go for replacement keys :)
Camper UK at Lincoln carry a good range of keys available over the counter if you have the serial number. 01522 697070

The joy of being a 'bit' OCD is, that everything has a place, and everything is always in its place!

Wallet, inside jacket pocket, phone right pocket. House key left pocket along with spectacle cloth.

Car keys right hand trouser zipped pocket with 2 pieces of folded kitchen paper for general use as tissues etc. Cotton handkerchief left trouser pocket, 3 x £1 coins for trolleys and tips in zipped left trouser pocket.

Pretty bomb proof, you should see me stack a dishwasher to say nothing of many other routines, storage etc.

No help in your situation, but spare a thought for us on the spectrum.

If you manage to get the keys and open the locks, I strongly suggest replacing all your lock barrels so that you can open all the locks with the same key.

My van has fourteen or fifteen* locks so getting a keyed-alike set is a special order for most suppliers, but up to 7 or 8 is easy enough.

* Lock fifteen is for a flap with nothing behind it. I think it covered the filler for a petrol tank for the generator, but that runs on LPG, so the petrol tank is long gone.

I'm sure lots of people have managed like me to misplace their motorhome keys.
My mh is locked on my drive, so keys must be at home, but after 3 days searching they have not turned up.
As far as the ignition keys are concerned I have a duplicate master key, but here is the real problem...... attached to my lost ignition key are the keys to the toilet cassette locker and the key to the water filler cap.
my question is how do I solve the problem?

Is your toilet locker door hinged at the top? That's unusual!

I do worry about those people who end up finding what they are looking for NOT in the last place they looked. If it wasn't in the last place they looked, why are they still looking? :D

Ref the keys, as suggested, ZADI and Vecam and SDS are all the same fitment and one of these brands will be used on probably 99% of all European/UK Motorhomes. It is very easy and inexpensive to get a full replacement set of barrels to cover all the locks. They'll come with 2 or maybe 3 key, so you have your spare there. Don't usually have the removal/refit key which would need to buy seperately. This key is typically RED and only works with an unlocked barrel (otherwise it would be rather an unsafe system, would it not).
