Resource area

Is there any restrictions on what can be placed in the Resource area? copyright etc i have some PDF's that may be of interest to other older van users these have been sourced from around the internet, the site resource area does not seem to be used and could be a fantastic site resource? I have uploaded a Propex heater PDF and it works ok, also no reward point seem to be attached to posting a resource?
