Yes very sad. Like many I have been following his progress via the BBC and when watching rugby matches and was shocked at his sudden decline over the last year.

A good player and a better man. A sad loss. RIP.

Son has just sent us a video of the Deeside minis rugby club holding a minutes silence then a minutes clap for dear old Doddie. It actually brought tears to our eyes. What a fantastic guy who has left us too soon.
