as we left england last week for the sun one of the bonuses was that we would leave behind the dramas of brexit etc but as we drove through france whenever we came of the motorways you would see the yellow vest pickets standing on corner’s roundabouts and bridges with one exception every speed camera had been sabotaged wrapped painted or burnt , we entered spain and left all that behind but as we headed to barcelona & tarragona we started to see the yellow ribbon symbol tied to lemposts & painted on roads bridges etc when we got to the bodega last night we asked the guy what the symbol stood for he said catalonian independence like your brexit?

Europe is not a happy place, when we were in Austria in September there were border guards on almost every road intent on stopping illegals coming in from Germany, queues every major city.

It caught on in Porto for a weekend.. The GNR are not noted for tolerating nonesense.. or The Guardia Civil... You should be OK further south.

The European Emperors , are very unhappy that it is leaking around the seams at the moment. The orders have been given stop it happening these peasants need an example.. At Rouen last week tha GJ's were out in force at the bridge and were getting support even the Police were happy.

Catalonia has been looking for independence from Spain for years, I don’t think brexit has anything to do with it.
I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be in the mess the UK is in at the moment.
