Save The Wave

I used to wave all the time when I had the Autotrail and normally got a response,now I am driving a motorhome beginning with H not so many people wave back so I only wave if waved to.It saves me from calling folks ''miserable b******s when they don't reciprocate my wave.:Smiling_Face_with_T.
 
I have become a responding waver... I wave back but don't normally wave first. Unless on the Hebrides where everyone waves to everyone anyway.

there appears to be an etiquette though? VW's only wave to other VW's, new MH' s don't wave, old MH's wave most times, RV's and fifth wheels don't wave, Tesco Vans never wave ? ? Has anyone else tried to figure it out? Are there some unwritten rules?

We tried to wave to the Euro boxes (ice cream vans) when we had the rv but Oh no they blank you ?
same with the vw lot if you are in a motorhome?
Going to buy a caravan and wave at all of them just because I can :Wink_Emoji:
