Thank goodness for that. I've been sitting here with a lump in my stomach. I can't imagine how you felt. She'll just want to sleep tonight, but hopefully she'll feel a bit better after a good rest. Keep us updated. Xx

She is finally back on the ward, groggy but fine. I will pop along tomorrow and see how she is.

Coming along nicely Ann, thanks.
I don’t mind the nurses uniform, but these high heels are killing me !
Each day sees an improvement, and today she’s had a lite bite and a gentle potter about.
I think my cooking could finally finish her off though!

Glad to hear she's feeling a bit better, pottering about is good. Discomfort isn't good, but the after effects of anaesthetic and pain killers is horrible.

Bet she doesn't want her high heels back yet though.

Thanks everybody, all this support has been a 'godsend'.
I have noticed a change for the better today, and I think by next week she will probably be back to her old self.
