Hi folks
Has anybody had an issue with Snipe not working when travelling in the North of Scotland ?
Mine works fine South of the border and all over France, but nowt in the Highlands.
Any advice would be appreciated !

I had a snipe 2 until earlier this year and it never failed to lock onto Astra 2 on my many trips up the west coast of Scotland all the way up to Durness.
Not sure if it would help but is the software up to date ?

Thanks Obanboy. My previous van had a Snipe 2 which was fine, but this version has everyone including Pulsat scratching their heads.
Software up to date, but still nothing in the North

The footprint for Astra 2 now covers the whole of Scotland so it shouldn't (in theory) make any difference where you are, it doesn't help you though but it is surprising Pulsat don't have an idea

Dont forget you need a clear line of sight towards the satellite as trees and hills get in the way, apologies if I am teaching grandma to suck eggs.
