Just flowers for Liz as she loves them, I'll get my usual nowt, we don't do cards ever as they are a real rip off.

Three days to go.

We buy cards, but at £1.99, it's OK. But we do make sure they can be recycled. Nothing else though. The only reason I buy a card is because she likes one. But I keep telling her that Valentines day is for unrequited love, for someone who may not know your feeling. But I went into a card shop and found some really odd ones!

Valentine for my daughter/son.
A special Valentine for you Nan.
Teachers deserve Valentines too.
Happy Valentines for my sister/brother!

There is something a bit sickly about all of those!

Is there a work wife one? I'm been informed I need to buy her lunch too
I didn't see one, but I am surprised she hasn't had a work husband one! She worked with one chap for 23 years, he still takes her out for coffee or lunch. He is a bit of a cheapskate though, he must buy her a burger from one of those vans at the side of the road. Every time I ask where he took her, it always seems to be a layby on the A45!

I'd be employing a PI.

Buy my wife of 44 yrs Flowers nearly every week so she not getting owt, rip off Britain hiking prices up just for a day 😡
