Today bought a very cheap solar pir light.
1 It charged up very quickly
2 Very Light (pun intended)
3 Easy to fix
4 Easy to switch off
5 Plan to buy 2
No 1 to replace my awning light.which fell off somewhere
No 2 an auxiliary by the habitation door.
All of £3 !

Sounds good, can you tell me who supplied it?
Needing two myself for same reason.
Thanks, Growlie.

Purchased at "Mr DIY" Uttaradit, Thailand. !!!
But probably chinese import.
Bought for "Easy outside lighting" with no need for wiring and good sun available...not much help for you.

Ebay is your friend, theres loads on there. More expensive than Jagmanx but a damned site cheaper than a flight to Thailand ;)
K ;)

i bought two from aldi in the summer about the same price they are superb they stand off slightly & have a permanent light on shining backwards full floodlight when pir triggers , i have one fitted at rear. of van set back in box so good i got another & fitted it above my front door has survived the normal solar flat battery been in use 5 months still holding enough charge to last all night,

Yes, early days ........but better than a more expensive similar item that I also have.
