Solar panel fitting

Hi,
I have got some 50mm x 50mm grp angle. would this be suitable to mount a solar panel on to a pvc roof?
it has a lower linear expansion than aluminium angle, so more stable .
Has anyone had experience of using the grp to fit a panel?
looking at a panasonic hit n295 w panel because it fits between the heki and the kitchen vent

Hi 47643. I have the Panasonic panel that you mention and I'm delighted with it.
I have a coachbuilt white box and used HB42 sealer/adhesive (lots of equally good alternative brands are available) and aluminium brackets to fix the panel to the roof. I've used a Victron controller with the solar panel which has a load output which I plan to use to run a 12V compressor fridge should the existing 3 way fridge ever fail miserably.
