Solar panel

Hi all. I have a solar panel. (Large) on roof. Panel inside says Alden with a switch. Left amps. Right volts. little green light. Sometimes light is off or flashing or on. How do I know when it is charging. Today. Quite sunny. No light. No amps. 13.6 volts. Over to you

Have you ever seen it higher than 13.6 volts? With lots of sunshine, it's possible the battery is completely full, so there's no light - no activity? I'm just thinking aloud really but it's possible that the light is on when the battery is being charged, intermittent perhaps when it's either getting low or maybe approaching full and off when it's full. I'm only guessing! I hope you manage to find an instruction manual... maybe call Alden? Good luck (y)

when the light is flashing it show the regulator and solar panel are working fine and the battery is fully charged. When a solid red light it is charging, when no light you have a fault.
With most regulators anyway, bound to be the odd one that is different.
