What do you have for Sunday breakfast?
We have just had
One slice stornoway black pudding
Fried egg(soft) drizzled over sbp
Sat on tatie scone
With fried baby tomatoes ( cut in half)
Abso beautifully cooked I hasten to add by moi ,her indoors didn’t want any but I made her some and guess what she LOVED IT brownie points for me ?
So let’s hear wot you lot ave
 
Smoked salmon (vodka flavoured from the farmers market), scrambled eggs (fresh eggs from our own hens), brown toast (bread from Highland Bakehouse, Crathie) and fresh coffee (Ballater roasted and ground)! Yum yum.
 
Nowt, got up too late ,can't wait for Sunday dinner leg of lamb ,,question is Stornoway. black pudding better than Bury market award winning black pudding ?.I must get to a laird meet.

Homemade warm rolls, grape jam and peach jelly! Would prefer bacon and mushrooms but eating up leftovers as coming back to UK in couple of days!
 
Shreddies, Morrisons knock off. My life is so dull.

Many years ago I worked for Bowyers of Trowbridge and was instructed to take three black pudding off my van stock to
Morris butchers shop Farnworth to enter a Black Pudding Contest
Thornley’s of Chorley, Simpson of Derbyshire, and three entries from Bury,Bowyers won,.The contest evolved and even receivd entries from France.Sadly with foot and Mouth episode the puddings mo longer use fresh blood.I eat
