The advantage of a Smart Car when finding a parking space ..

Our local garage has a Toyota IQ loan car (known locally as 'the silly little blue car'). It is almost as short as a Smart car.

There are back seats, but when the grandson's car seat was in the back, we had to post him in through the rear hatch.

When driving it, following traffic looks terrifyingly near in the mirror, and reversing it into a parking space is amazingly difficult.

I'm not sure why. Probably a combination of short wheelbase and poor rear visibility.

It isn't helped by the rear parking sensors that start screaming at you when you are still six feet away from the nearest obstacle.

It's also the only car I've driven that has a green warning light. Apparently it means the engine is cold.

And it has a light that tells you to change to a lower gear when it is idling in neutral.

I used tIMG_2244.pngo deliver to the Aston Martin factory, and they had a load of the IQ’s they were rebadging them with Aston Martin badges and a few subtle cosmetic changes and selling them as some sort of Aston Martin, though I have never seen one on the road,
