The benefit of doing exactly as you're told
I'm a bit down, in the aftermath of an ear infection.
Management was preparing today's work schedule.. She would put the Xmas trimmings up, while I siliconed around the kitchen worktops. Then I would makeup myself available for rigging the tree lights... Always a cause of stress and foul language.
I Coughed pitiously and limped out to lay on a sun bed.
When I awoke, an hour later, she said, " You should get a tonic ".
" Yes dear ", was my automatic reply.
So I did.....
