Just been out to the van been broken into completely ransacked what’s missing who knows it’s such a mess but my money tin has gone about £280/320 in coins my walk-in talkies tv camera so far but every cupboard has been emptied glad I removed my IPad my satnav and my spare phone so annoyed I think they got in through the hab door that has the dodgy lock on it fecking little bar stewards ??????

On a brighter note a good excuse to clean out the cupboards? and I am now going to have my check up with angry blood pressure ?
 
That's a bummer Annie, have they damaged the van itself or just pinched stuff? :mad:

Just pinched stuff and made a mess the hab door has been dodgy since the wind slammed it shut Waewae said he would fix it but I said to wait until the better weather I was angry for a few minutes but it could have been worse I don’t think there was any attempt to take the van so just money and a few bits not worth an insurance claim.

As you say, could have been much worse if whole van nicked. You sure it's not worth an insurance claim for the missing stuff?

Sorry to hear this bad news Annie . Thieving two hats , I hope they get caught , but I they do it is only a verbal rollicking so what is the point :mad:

What an annoying thing to happen, I know where you're coming from with the law, I had my works van done 3 times, they did nothing except send me an envelope full of leaflets telling me how to stop it happening, very useful waste paper.
I wondered how your insurance will be, maybe you can get them to fix the door.
If they will it might be worth becoming a statistic and inform the police for a crime number.
 
It was at home on the drive there is no way they could have got the van out as it has a disclok in and a post embedded in the concrete and 2 cars parked in front of that both with disklok son I think it was just an opportunist apart from the £1 and £2 coins the rest not worried about but I am at the hospital now and my blood pressure is through the roof.
 
The problem now is because of my BP I may not get my joint juice they have sent me for a cuppa and are going to take it again.
