Thetford bog ?

Does anyone know how to remove this bog out of motorhome?
I'm insulating pipework and also want it out to deep clean washroom and the toilet itself seeing as its been around for 18yrs.
There doesn't seem to be any sealer holding it in however I cant see any screws attaching to floor either, only screws I see are holding the toilet parts themselves together as one toilet.

It looks like the C200 (same as mine).
When/if you get the info how to remove, please post any tips or gotchas here.... I mentioned I am looking to change my flooring from carpet to hard floor? The bathroom along with the C200 Thetford therein is carpeted so any handy hints would be good

I've (I think) I've sussed out how it comes out from TJBi's link, looks like 4 screws under the cassette which are hidden from sight by the part the cassette slides over.
Will have another look today & report back.

All the screws are visible in your pictures, look on the Thetford website for the installation PDF for your model.

All the screws you see in photo are to assemble the toilet as a unit, not to attach to floor.

I assume that they would reveal the attachment points once you split it.

If you look at the part the cassete sits on theres 4 recesses which obscure the 4 screws from view.
I will nip them out later and see what happens, theres a water feed and switch to disconnect aswell.

I have to say that for an 18 year old van that is an extremely clean cassette bay, hardly even a scratch on the slide part.

That must be about the only part that's in good condition then because everything else I've touched sofar has been knackered, it's nearly all fixed though, I can definitely see light at the end of the tunnel.

Managed to remove bog today, 4 screws, 2 wires and a push fit hose connector.
Will give it a good wash before refitting.
Cleaned floor underneath as it was filthy along with wall area and cable runs etc.

confused now though. I always thought there was a big hole in the floor between toilet and cassette? And the cassette was below floor level.
Hoping mine is exactly the same as will make redoing the floor much easier.

Gonna have to go and have a look at the loo hatch door level now .... Back .... yup, mine is same.
(if I thought about it more, it was obvious as the fresh water tank and a rear locker must be underneath the toilet so the cassette can't be same drop as them, can it!)

Have you got a picture of the unit as taken out? Trying to get my head around this

The cassette fits inside the pedestal of the toilet, its a bit of an optical illusion.
If you look at the hatch you can see its floor level and the toilet is screwed to floor with the hatch giving access to rear of toilet pedestal.
I will get a photo of toilet unit tommorow.

When I saw this thread title, I thought, Thetford might be a bit of a dump. But it’s not a bog. Gateway to East Anglia, and all that.
