Thetford fridge ignition problem.

I have a Thetford fridge/freezer, the tall type. Every few hours the blue light starts flashing when on gas. I have to turn off the fridge and then restart which is fine for another few hours. It could be that it fails to reignite after the thermostat has switched it off. Manual ignition is perfect. The error code is 18 (I think). Is this easy to fix?

Just had the same problem on my sons ven, checked the thermo coupling and that was the problem, a few quid on amazon and that's it sorted

Could you give me some detail please? I shall have a look. Is it specific to one fridge or is it on all of them?

His error code was 9, flame out.
I hope that this is your problem instead of the pcb as its a fair bit more expensive...

Fridge went off again and checked the code which is 11 which is no power source but gas is full. Have taken it off AUTO to see how that goes. Anyone else had code 11?
