So being the least technical person on this forum I need some advice :p

As you can see from the picture the white plastic fridge vent surrounds have cracked and I am being sent replacements. They have told me I will need to put a small amount of sealant before fixing in place. My question, what sealant do I use?

On the assumption the vents then fix into the surrounds !
The surrounds look as if they are screwed in place but additional support required to stop vibration.
Thus a semi-permanent substance is OK
The vents surely will be reemoveable from the surrounds to service the fridge.
For me a white coloured maybe sikaflex ?

Thank you for your responses, you are all most helpful. I will try and find some sikaflex.

So is this the stuff sikaflex ?

my daughter's 2 skylights on her ambulance were both sealed with sikaflex adhesive . not by me . they both leak ,but i can't remove them without destroying them ,so we have to bodge them every few months with a layer of butyl mastic .

Nigel I recently had to seal up around a roof vent as I couldn’t get on the roof to do anything else and it was lock down.
Ended up getting a litre tin of Polar Leakseal and painted a strip around the 3 sides on the roof I could get to. It’s done a great job for me so far, worth a try on daughters?
