Yes thay can be expensive and they do get knicked , I know of a couple of instances where they have been taken from a camp site or French Aire Could be a good idea to mark them somehow to make them less knickable

Not sure how effective that would be for those minded to steal them
As they say a lock only keeps an honest man out.

We’ve had our van since 2008, full timed in it, toured from UK to Morocco, through temps all year and never used them once. We’ve carried them for 65,000 miles in the locker under the bed and the fridge has worked fine. If you put what sized vents you need, and they match, let me know where you are and you can have ours!

Finally we got a result on our demetic fridge winter vents .as they total cover the vent area.
If using gas only fit bottom cover. only fit both if on 12v or 240 '
