Thinking camping in the UK is bad?

Not sure what to make of that David! Glad I didn't see it before going to the states for 3 weeks and wild camping or boondocking as they say in the U.S ofA 7 years ago😳. I'm pretty certain that no boondocking is allowed in Yosemite, you have to use official camp sites and Yosemite is well known for Bears frequenting camp sites at night so probably not an axe murderer at all 🤣. Maybe we were naive but we felt pretty safe without five loaded guns on board.
The guy stated if anyone's trying to take his tow car he'd let them take it so not sure what circumstances would justify him starting shooting eh? So if he's not going to use them why's he carrying them? Seems to me that flashing a gun around is a perfect way to get shot.
