Very close to the No 1 wild camping trip.

If I was going to do that trip Terry, I would have chosen a better 4WD. I have used Nissan, Toyota and Land Rovers where there were no roads or dirt roads and the Toyota was by far the most rugged and reliable. Plus spare parts were more readily available (you would only need consumables anyway).

The diesel version in the video has a 6 cylinder BMW engine. Given that the UK Police have stopped using BMW cars due to engine problems, I would still stick to a Toyota. The Grenadier costs from 68K to 79K to buy.

The Ineos Grenadier is an expensive toy for rich Arabs and dodgy Oligarchs, Jim. That marque was not around during my time out in the ME, but when we did various desert trips, if not a landie, it was a Toyota truck, two seater type, where we sat along the off and nearside bench seats. Sore on th bum it was too!

Here is the couples web page, direct to their youtube page. They are well connected to be able to do what they are doing, certainly not from a cooncil scheme.
