So I was looking for the new member introduction part of forum and now I've found it.
My name is Alistair & my GF is called Patty.
We live in Aberdeenshire and are very new to the motorhome scene having bought a 17yr old motorhome from south of Englandshire 3 weeks ago.
The motorhome itself is reasonably tidy but were doing a bit of TLC tidying up the scuffed bits and pieces and bringing the interior upto date with LEDs, new plumbing and USBs etc etc, new carpets when we find someone with templates.
I / we hope to make new friends on forum and no doubt will be picking people brains for info.
Cheers Aly & Patty.

Welcome to the forum your in the right place for advice and help.

Good luck updating your Moho.

I have been helped out a few times myself ..

Hi and welcome to you both.

We need some new carpets too, they were bad when we got this van and have only got worse, we looked at getting new ones made but decided the cost wasn't worth it so we are going to get a new cab mat with step mats, and get a couple of similar coloured strip mats fro somewhere like Dunelm so if they get grubby and don't clean well they are cheap to replace.

Link to mats

Seems this company will also make mats so I've asked how much a pair for the hab area might be.

One 140cm x 75cm and one 230cm 70cm

Welcome from The Algarve.
We bought our first M..H. 25 years ago.
And ground to a halt here 5 years.
Hope you have fun and adventures.l

I've been measuring up our moho roof to see what size solar panel I can fit, do any of you guys have a brand recommendation for this ? We don't mind spending money on something decent but dont really know whats reliable and what isn't.....

All pretty much of a muchness these days I've always bought from Germany but plenty over here now.

A big welcome from Norfolk! Our van is nearly twenty years old but we love her to bits and spend most of our time keeping her up to scratch. With the help of a solar panel and refillable gas bottles we find regular camping is very affordable.
Check out Wildebus on the forum, he’s the man for solar, batteries, gizmos and anything electrical. He will help you in any way he can.
