Let’s hear some tips of things you’ve picked up whilst out and about camping.
I’ll kick off with one that I used today;
If your waste tank starts to pong, buy some cheap cola and pour it down the sink. Go for a drive then empty the tank. Worked for me.

Don’t try to pull you’re toilet cassette out if you’ve had a few too many. This tip combined with don’t drink cider and whiskey.

If you park you’re van at same spot for long periods turn and face it the other way now and then stops too much fading and sun damage to the one side.

OOH, you're so clever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "2tr Aldi 14p cola in the waste tank when we leave home seems to do the trick, Aldi bio tabs or when available, Aldi green loo fluid keeps the lav going, although I have to admit to using the toilet duck splodger thing on occasions to reduce the slight niff when we are away for a while. Because of a somewhat limited income we tend to buy 2nd hand or even accept the odd freeby from members and also gleam tips too. I think, however, that we missed out on some anti skid panels that one of our members was offering. But this is what our group is all about, sharing both our knowledge and surplus's.

If you buy toilet roll get two ply paper it breaks up easily ,get a bowl of water and put two ply in and watch it break up when you stir it up (test exercise ) we used to buy at caravan shops very costly but cheap two ply does the job.
Oops meant purpose

If you don’t have heated mirrors on your van ,clean your mirror and even the toilet mirror then apply rainex to the mirror you will find the water just drops off it and when driving it don’t sit on it,stops a lot of misting on toilet mirror also
Found the rainex does work and good for me esp as we are a lhd van

When on ehu be careful not to overload the supply and trip the fuse, many sites being limited to 10 amps or less.
This may be of help, or maybe will confuse Conversions
As an example, a 2.5 kw heater is approximately 10 amps, so if you turn on your 2 kw hairdryer at the same time, you will probably trip the fuse.
First night out in our van we did this repeatedly!

Rainex also stops your Perspex shower door from getting soap marks on it.

Oh dear, my sainted friend, doesn't that mean that your finger goes straight through ? And when picking your nose at the traffic lights------------------------ugh

Save the silver bags from boxes of wine. These can be inflated or deflated to suit then pop them in your lockers to stop those noisy rattles when driving.
