Yes it's true and can be seen being abused (Section 5 I mean). There are YT vids doing the rounds showing the Police doing just that. During a pro Palestine demonstration in London, a young lady is manhandled into a park because she had a sign that said 'Hezbollah are terrorists'. Despite marchers showing support for a proscribed terrorist organisation, 3 policemen deemed that she was at fault because her placard would cause 'distress or insult others'.
Police Officers are resigning in their droves partly due to the job now being crap* and armed officers being taken to Court on murder charges.

* I had to word it that way as politics are banned on this forum.
 
Stop the world I want to get off is an old one but never more true, it's just getting worse all the time.

A nd political or not it really goes with out saying look at the rulers we have in the western world today, WW3? it will be a miracle if we avoid it.
