Truma Heater

We have always had a noisy Truma, and until recently I just assumed it was something we had to put up with.
Reorganising storage, last week, it suddenly dawned on me that the fan housing was resting on the outside wall of the bus and vibrations were being magnified like a drum.
I removed the screws holding the heater to the floor and reduced the length of the gas pipe, which allowed me to reposition the whole unit away from the wall.
To further reduce any vibration, I intend to Sikaflex the feet to the metal plate on the floor, so that it will be operating, in effect, on ‘rubber washers’ and hopefully any noise will be just a memory. ?
