Had a trial of this bad boy today, has all the bells and whistles, tig, mig, mags, mma, flux core self shielding, flux core duel shield and, oxy-acetylene cutting.
Cracking bit of kit with numerous other functions beneficial in a teaching environ.

I guarantee there will be a handful of chips in there.

What you see on the screen is pretty much the same, the clip is 5 year old and the VR units the size of a fridge have been superseded to the VR unit image I posted, that said though, image I posted is the portable version. I prefer image to the same, fixed room larger unit. Problem is with this type of technology is, what you buy today, is old technology tomorrow, VR is evolving daily within our lives.

Leaps and bounds ....
Nice to be able to pick up some slightly yesterday kit that someone at the cutting edge now considers 'old' though for a song at times though ;-)

It is something I have not looked into is second hand VR kit, so I don’t know how price differs. The portable VRTEX 360 in image retails at just over 20k, where the Fronius portable VR Welder which I have access to which offers tig & mags only, around five year ago retailed at around 35k, if my memory serves me well.
