We’ve just spent another three weeks in Scotland, recent events meant TV was extremely handy e.g. we watched the funeral at the RSPB Scotland Fowlsheugh Carpark.
We have and use all three, firestick, sat, and analogue aerials.
Mobile data is always the most unreliable of the three. There’s simply is not adequate enough coverage at many locations in the countryside to support the bandwidth needed for video streaming.
I recently bought a Necvox mag mount antenna I was thoroughly impressed with it and I honestly believe it performed better than the more expensive vision plus aerial I have on my other van.
When we can’t use the Necvox, then I also have a 80cm mechatronic motorised sat dish. Which as long as there was line of sight to the satellite worked 100%
Got my dish for £200 from eBay direct from RoadPro it was an absolute bargain. New these things aren’t cheap and I am not sure I would personally be able to justify the cost.
I am not sure how well a Necvox would perform in Spain, foreign language channels etc but for the price definitely worth having
