As a general rule anywhere south of Toulouse is hit an miss for UK tv you can see the footprint maps on the web. The bigger the dish the better 85 cm minimum

Depends what you want to watch. Coverage on many non-subscription channels runs out as you travel down through France.

We have jyst load sky glass on to our firestick and it works great off my phone hot spot.

Maybe get a tablet with a bigger screen.
We find 10 in OK
Still cheaper and MUCH more convenient TVs to big and cumbersome

buy a data sim for whichever country your in in spain they need to put an address on but they will accept a campsite address i actually used an address off a garage receipt i had , in portugal never been asked for an adress yet

How much does a Dish etc cost?
We use our mobile phone as a Hotspot and rely on Data. We are able to listen to the radio and watch TV with no problems of slow connection.
If you want to watch BBC Then you will need a VPN so that the beeb thinks you are still in the UK.
Many/most free ones are not good enough to fool the beeb but Express works well, and is also very safe for Internet banking.
We have used this in the far north of Norway to Spain and Portugal plus many countries in between.

We’ve just spent another three weeks in Scotland, recent events meant TV was extremely handy e.g. we watched the funeral at the RSPB Scotland Fowlsheugh Carpark.

We have and use all three, firestick, sat, and analogue aerials.

Mobile data is always the most unreliable of the three. There’s simply is not adequate enough coverage at many locations in the countryside to support the bandwidth needed for video streaming.

I recently bought a Necvox mag mount antenna I was thoroughly impressed with it and I honestly believe it performed better than the more expensive vision plus aerial I have on my other van.

When we can’t use the Necvox, then I also have a 80cm mechatronic motorised sat dish. Which as long as there was line of sight to the satellite worked 100%

Got my dish for £200 from eBay direct from RoadPro it was an absolute bargain. New these things aren’t cheap and I am not sure I would personally be able to justify the cost.

I am not sure how well a Necvox would perform in Spain, foreign language channels etc but for the price definitely worth having

TVMucho gives you an hour a day free TV from UK or pay 7.99 euros for unlimited TV. All main UK channels and no need for a VPN.
