Well it's been a stressful couple of days, travelled down to Cornwall on Sunday to attend my best man's funeral on Monday through some veritable cloudbursts in the south west. Woke up 6.00am Monday, no power in the van DC or AC, CL site supply had tripped in the night and drained our lithium totally flat. Went to the funeral, gave the eulogy ...... back to the van to talk to Luke at Bluefix to try and sort out some power. Needed a quick fix as Tunnel crossing booked for Wednesday and the plan was to travel across from Cornwall today and stop at the Drum PH tonight. Couldn't do a remote fix as couldn't dial into the Victron system ...... no power!! So went back to the wake and then drove back to Leominster last night ready for Luke to sort it this morning. Glad to say it is sorted and we are now at the Drum where we have showers and a SSW wind gusting to 39mph. We'll sleep well tonight . Weather updates from France tomorrow.
Sadly, it's our age. A local friend we walked and camped with was trudging uphill to the surgery, suffered a heart attack, and instantly passed away. His service is tomorrow.
Our weather is about to change, but today will be dry and mostly cloudy, with a moderate westerly and 17° high. ️
Heading south after a bright start in Folkestone we have bright intervals and showers and warmer at 18°, still a gusty WSW wind rocking the van, airride pumped up .
Best day of the year, complete change..
Lots of bare flesh. Sometimes too much.!

Well its good here in Auxonne as well Chris. 16°, sunny, breathless and rising to 25° later. Last long run today to get Le Val before we meet up with the family at the gite near Draguighan for a week.
