Following on gathering items from Car Boot Sale for £1 or less..

This was purchased from a Japanese man for 20p. Neither the purchaser nor the rest of the Meet could identify it. Lot of speculation- rice baller - fruit punch strainer.....

Anyone??

There is a trigger near the top of the handle which opens a very small hole at the bottom - hence the fruit punch strainer idea....
 
Yes you squeeze the trigger and the white stem rises and unblocks a hole at the bottom so liquid can be released.
 
Small hole would get blocked by pips and seeds. Could it be missing some parts.
You could strain veg through it.
 
Lots of Shimono gadgets on Google but can't see this one! Think a rice baller could be a good option.

But the way that is sort of portion size I would say it's probably for fruit salad.
 
It's a 'thingymajig' circa 1960s & has the winner of the bottle of wine found the other half of his choppers yet? :ROFLMAO:
