this seems to be a fairly minor gas leak that accumulated behind a well fitted appliance and was somehow ignited. imagine if it had been in a van !

When living in australia (in fire&rescue) got called to a motorhome that had pulled into layby to make a cuppa , they had gone to light hob , and got blown out the rear door , which luckily had been fully open ! Only injury was singed eyebrows . Another one was caravan on touring site , plugged into ehu , and blew the windows open , no one was inside , and had dislodged the fridge .

Scary, and a lucky escape. But LOL at her near knocking herself out on the freezer door.
