This one

How easy to drain the fuel ?

Planning USA and Canada this seems a better option compared with a transformer
Anyone using one ?

Or spend a bit more as I have an external BBQ (LPG) outlet and seek to avoid petrol !
eg
P1PE P2000iLPG 1800W Portable Petrol/LPG Dual Fuel Inverter Generator

Then there is a 3rd option

ALLPOWERS 288Wh/78000mAh Portable Solar Generator Power Inverter Power Station Camping Emergency Power Supply with DC/AC Inverter, Charged by Solar Panel/Wall Outlet for Camping, Emergency Backup

What I need is a bit of battery backup to run our Truma heating in April and September assuming No EHU
Our existing battery is only 85 amp-hours

I ran our truma 4e more or less constantly for 4 days at the New Year meet with very little help from solar and only a 110ah battery. They actually don’t use a great deal of electricity as much of the time is spent not blowing. Maybe you’d be better getting an extra battery rather than an annoying and pesky generator. Don’t forget, most people have guns ?

OK Thanks Bill...I do not want a Jennifer..
We have 120Watt Solar....April starts longer days/shorter nights so we should manage as you suggest..
We use very little Leccy apart from the heating and as you say heating does not blow too much.
There are such things as pullovers etc as well.
In suitable areas a camp fire may also be possible.
Daylight hours 7am to nearly 8pm plus twilight
So maybe nothing needed or a smaller Lithium Backup pack (£100 or so)
