Yet another Toilet Thread!

Biodegradable plastic is a con. Firstly, it is often only degradable in industrial composting plants (which most never end up at).
Secondly, 'biodegradable' just means it degrades. Not that it turns into something harmless.
The best you can hope for is that it degrades badly enough NOT to turn into microplastics, which can enter the bloodstream and do an awful lot of harm. The body has evolved no defence.
We are only now beginning to discover the terrible harms that microplastics have on animal.life.
BPAs from bottled water is another catastrophe we are hurtling into.
It's like the Romans and all their lead water supplies. A really, really big mistake.
