Anyone used a good camp site close to or travel suitable into city with a dog.
We were caught out nr burgos because bus when it arrived wouldn’t take the dog. Site receptionist had said it was ok.
Are trains in Portugal ok with dogs? And /or buses?

If your dod is in a cage then they are sometimes allowed on public transport.
Portugal is not dog friendly on public transport.
Guidance dogs are usually allowed.
In wintertime a blind eye is often turned on beaches BUT not always.
In summer, taken to be after the swimming season starts, May 15th, dogs are less welcome on beaches.

There was parking next to harbour at one time ?

We parked our 6mtr Sprinter on a car park near the river for 5euro/day near the Belam Tower and wildcamped till morning, the GNR office was across the road, no bother.Screenshot_20240504_095400_Maps.jpg
