France Is Very Quiet

We have been in Brittany for the last three weeks and found it very busy with French vans but not many British,
In Bagnoles-de-l’Orne at the moment and again busy with French but we are the only brits here

We just spent 9 days ambling through France... I think it was closed Enjoyed La Rochelle and Biarritz though. Lots more life in Spain and Bilbao was a wonderful surprise. Such a ively happy city and lots of fabulous beaches where we were staying, to the north-east. Free aire, metro ride into the city and the trains run all night at the weekend, plus yummy tapas.. what's not to love? Apart from a storm the other night, it's been sunshine all the way since we left the top bit of France. Cool at 5am this morning in Palencia but it's warming up nicely now. Moving on again once the laundry's finished and maybe cross into Portugal tomorrow if we don't get sidelined by somewhere interesting. 2 weeks in and 5 to go, so we not rushing

It was Barbezieux St. Hilaire and was a very peaceful quiet night with only a Belgium for company.

After that we had a night at Le Teich and the weather was bloody awful.
Now on Donostia San Sebastian, absolutely glorious and just had Haddock & Chips in the motorhome for tea.
